Does anybody have a 8 gal biocube that they have put a fuge in?I have a small backpack fuge, but i would have to drill through the glass on the back.Any ideas would be appreciated.Muchas gracias:thumbsup:
What most people do for the light cycle on the fuge is 24 hours or reverse cycle. So turn the fuge light on when the dt lights are off and it will help you stablize your ph more.
Thanks Curtis.I just wonder what kind of fuge light set up will work without disturbing my DT.Things are a little different with the biocubes.I have kept 3 different large reef tanks when the fuge and lighting was'nt a issue.I keep getting algae blooms, and cant keep my cuc alive long enough to make a diffrence.Guess I just have to figure it out.Everything is so touchy with such a small tank.Thank you for the input.
Well I keep a 30 gallon cube with a 20 gal sump. Something is going on I dont think its all due to just the system volume. You should get a ATO though. Are you using rodi water? Have you let the tank cycle all the way?
Yes rodi for sure. The tank is almost 3 years old.I had a 36 gal with a back pack fuge and never had a problem. This little thing is running stock. It was fine for two years, but the past few months i have started to get cyno blooms.I have plenty of flow and I water change 40 to 50 % once a week.I am going to to figure something out.
