8 gallon soft coral reccomendations

I just started an 8 gallon Nuvo aquarium. I have a Blastomussa wellsi frag, a yellow assessor and a couple of inverts. My chemistry has been pretty good so far and I have already started to see coraline growth. Any recommendations on good soft corals or SPS that i could get to give this small aquarium more color? Also, any thoughts on having a snapping shrimp in the tank? I plan on pairing it with a striped goby.

this thread is worthless without pics of the current tank lol. Kenya, zoanthids, and mushroom corals are good softies. Montipora is a good beginner sps. A clown goby would be a good fish if you want one. I think that after 6 months and if you have the right light you could get a torch or hammer. Just take it slow. you have your whole life to do this.

I just started my Nuvo 8 gallon 2 months ago. First time reefer. Interested if you are considering upgrading either stock pump or adding more light? My pump won't push the Spin Stream when opened to max 92 gph. Hoping it will be enough though for most softies, some LSP. Will you use stock filter media or change out? Sweet looking little tank overall. Would like to use stock everything and see what it can do. thanks!

i would never buy another clown goby, (perching fish that eats SPS, lays eggs that kill SPS) they have a great personality but not worth it to me....

as for corals in a nano, what ever you want just remember it is going to grow, and some of them quickly..

in my 5g i have 3 different leathers, a kenya, a colt, anthelia, GSP, palyathoas, torch, frogspawn, several different arcoporas, bunch of different montipora, mushrooms, 2 different birdnests...
