looking to get a show fish to go with a pair of occ clowns, pair of pj cards, and starry blenny. Can't do a tang bc I think it will cause issues with my blenny.

I was tossing around the idea of a trio of Anthias that are peaceful but the feedings is a bit of a concern. Tank is a 48" by 24"

Suggestions please!

Also a couple of smaller fish instead of a "show fish" would be fine as well.

IMO if you're going for the anthias feel a trio wouldn't be too hard to maintain, just pick up an automatic feeder and feed them pellets throughout the day then frozen or a better food when it's you feeding.

A good, albeit less dainty, show fish that i really enjoyed was my saddleback valentini puffer who jumped out a screen hole :( but he had a lot of personality and was always one of my favorite fish.

I don't know if this really was helpful but just my .02 cents

If you are on the fence with the anthias, you can always go with some colorful flasher or fairy wrasses. If you have a sand bottom, you can go with a melanurus, cosmetus, or some of the other bright colored Halichoeres wrasses. I have successfully kept both in my 75 gallon with clowns, anthias, and chromis.
