The trachy is recovered from my blue hippo tang attacking it. I'm probably going to trade or sell it as I can't keep it in my DT. My iPhone doesn't pick up all the gold, just a little

You can see the gold a little more in this pic. This was after the hippo ripped into the mouth.

Meh, the Todd's torch might not be in there for long. That's the only place in my tank that it can handle the current. It's too close to some sps already. How much is a head of that going for now a days? I smell a quick sale for more chalices, lol.

The chalices are eating and the flesh seems to be thickening, so its going to spread soon. But I still don't see any blue in the eyes. I actually started a thread somewhere about segregating colors in lps. I used the example of my bowerbanki Acans. I got a colony if red bowerbankis. One or two of the polyps had green stripes. I fragged those out seperatley. Now all that grow off that frag have the stripes. I've been wondering if and how this applies to chalices.

Joes right, I should share this plate. I got this in trade and it was splitting at the time. It seems to be growing back together though. I'll post an updated shot later

I'll take the Todds.

This isn't a simple one for me. I went out of my way to acquire both pieces and still love em both. I drove 2hr each way to get that trach and nursed it back to health twice, lol. If I sell I would need to ask for around $200 for either piece. The Todd's has a couple of heads. I'm totally open to trades on these as I would want to replace them with something as nice.

Thats what happened to me, it was getting so large i went to move it and accidently cracked it in half which turned out to be the best thing since i now had a more managable peice to deal with.. Heads usually go for around $85-110 give or take.. Its a pretty difficult peice to come by esp. the real deal with those crazy colors..

Only the biggest of the eyes at the heart of the colony get the blue appearance. They darken up as they grow. Goes along with my argument that the smaller frag does, indeed, have a mouth. It just blends into the flesh very well. Your blue and pink chalice makes a great contrast to mine. I placed it not far from mine and they look great. I have two new mouths already
