How do you get such good close ups? I have a cannon rebel xt slr camera and I cant seem to get even half that close. I have a 50m macro lense. Do I need a special lense or somthing?

That particular lens will give you a ratio of 1:2. The lens I use provides a 1:1 ratio. There is a converter you can add to your lens that will allow you to focus to lifesize 1:1 ratio which is really what you are looking for in macro photography.
