im using a Canon EOS 350D with a EF50mm f/2.5 Macro lens...

Nice photos there, I like the first one despite the distortion, the colors are too hard to resist

is it? The picture is a lot more blue than I thought they were. Maybe lighting or photo lenses. That is a great color.

how did you set your WB so the colors are bright & true? I have a Canon 20D w/ the 50mm & 100mm macro lenses & i have hard time geting colors to look correct. Also what mode do you shoot in? I'm a photo newbie trying to enjoy taking pics of my corals & fish..

Is that a Acan Lord or a Micromussa? It's a beautiful coral either way. I have a Acan Lord with the same color combo, but not as much red.

I set a custom white balance at the tank using a white piece of paper! Simple as that! I find that when taking the macro shots, make sure you use a tripod and take as many photo's as possible. I think i took around 100 shots just to get those 5.

Yes it is a Acan Lord! Whats even better is when they extend there tenticle to feed a slight tinge of green can be seen within the middle of the mouth!

the blue is slightly greater than in real life due to the 14,000K globes im using! but still look fantastic nonetheless!
