Ok got my macro lens...Im not 100% sure this is the right one...its a 100mm ef 1:28 I was thinking youall said to get the 1:1...I paid 529.00 for the lens I have 14 days trial so any input is welcome....should I get a different lens???IS FOR MY 30D

I believe that lens is $470 at places like B&H. It's the right lens by the way- the 1:1 refers to the magnification ratio (1:1 equals lifesize). Nice pics and corals!

That is a good lens. I have the Nikon 105 and that is a good lens because it has enough focal length that you can get close with out getting too close yet it is not so big that you cant shoot thing unless you are far away. Your pics look great. A few fuzzy ones but that is just the glass. Nice job
