I like shrooms as well. I am new to the salt water world and some of my early purchases were shrooms and they have done great and have multiplied...would recomment them to any other newbees....I need to get one of those reds...I have also tried the Ricorda and like them as well...thanks for sharing

The reds we have all started out nickel to quarter size. Now they are bigger than a silver dollar! Quite striking in the tank!

what lighting do you use? Those are really bright red....

We use T5's. It really makes the reds stand out well. Was just at our local saltwater fish store....GERBERS....and boy do they have some great mushrooms. In their one tank with all $49.95 corals are some beautiful mushrooms. Each rock has between 5-10 shrooms, all around 50 cent size. I am looking at one where there are mushrooms about 3.5" in diameter.

That's great. I just upgraded to T5's and it was a big difference.

We have three good LFS here and its seems shroom's selection comes and goes. I really like the Florida Ricordia's as well for their colors.....just got 10 of them in a couple of weeks ago.
