Amazing color! You should look into getting a photo box for top down shots. It allows you to go just beneath the surface of the water with the camera lens so you can avoid those nasty reflections. Not to mention they are just a great way to look at your corals even if your not taking pics!

It seems ORA is not a popular tri-color, but I like it.

1 month after switch to 250W Radium, it changes to

As you can see under Radium green base is less visible but brown polyps get highlighted, interesting.

Mine is under 14k hamilton. I have been thinking of switching to radiums but I hope mine dosen't look like yours afterwards no offence.

Maybe I am the only one who like the look under Radium :p to me ORA tri-color is unique in term of its purple tips and brown polyps, all other tri-colors has purple tips with green polyps. It seems that Radium render the brown polyps better, it is only 1 month after major light change, still in 4.5 hour lighting, who knows maybe Radium will bring back the green base later.

Whatever looks best to your eye is most important, lighting is just one of factor maybe you will like your ORA better after you switch to Radium.

Tangov: yes it is ORA hawkins.

Ryan: I bet it will color back up after a while. And yes it is verry true that if you like it better that is all that matters. Please keep me updated on how it goes.

Your color can change with the lighting placement too. You might notice different coloring with where it is placed in the tank:)
