I haven't had a chance to get in on any good action here in the LPS forum in a while :) Today I came home with a beautiful wellso brain from an LFS and got some awesome shots of my neon candy canes and my ORA duncan with babies to show :)

Here's the wellso right after acclimation- not open yet since it was put in shortly before lights out, but it ate a bunch of mysis like a good lps)

I've moved a few things around since then though
 
I'll get an updated one in a few minutes - its looking gorgeous today.. Not quite 100% fully opened like at the store and needs more time to settle in but definitely poofing up nicely throughout the day.

Oh and BLKTANG my blenny is very well behaved. She loves mysis, my homemade food and formula 1 and even 2 pellets though she has a hard time fitting the pellets into her mouth. She's very friendly swimming with the clowns when they leave their clip, but shies away from bigger fish like the foxface. She usually retreats to a little cave in the rockwork when i come near and darts out for food. Haven't seen her nip anything she shouldn't either. Pretty docile (but potential jumpers, if you get one make sure you have a lid!)
 
Okay heres an updated oneo f the brain and a FTS for today

I think this guy comes in around 6" or so but i never actually measured but his polyps are in that typical wellso shape where they radiate around itself

Great pics. That wellso is amazing. I see at least 4 different colors in that thing.:eek1: Tank is looking good too.:thumbsup:
 
I'm not sure there is a usual price but when I saw this in my LFS I was like "omg I *need* that" .. had to do a lot of convincing of the hubby but it was only $60.

Ironically it had been there since the store opened a few months ago but had just started to color up more. I love it it really stands out under my T5s.. it reminds me of a psychadellic easter egg, what a way to celebrate :)
 
Wow HKS those are absolutely amazing! - I take it as they grow they just keep getting bigger and more rotund? Will need to move mine to a bigger tank eventually :)
 
Hey Christie, those are some crazy colors on that brain. OBTW that was a great price for it. Those will go for double up here in Charlotte.
