A little advice

I have been a sw enthusiast for a few years now. I recently tried to start back into the hobby and have become a bit discouraged. My tank is losing the fish one by one. Its like a black death is killing them off one by one. Waterf levels are within spec. The only diffence in this fowlr setup is that I've tried calerpra (sp) and chaeto. The plants keep dying. Could the dead plant matter be killing off my fish. It's weird each day I come home from work and another fish is dead. They show no signs of illness or stress. Any advice on things/diseases that could be killing theses guys off one by one.

what are your levels ammonia/nitrite/ph/temp/sg

how old is the tank.

maybe fish are pecking at each other until they killthemselfs, stress is a silent and sometimes invisible killer, lost my copperband to it
