i learn soo much from other peoples questions and everyones answers(and opinions) so i will tell you something i learned today. i have been having a nitrate and phosfate problem, water change after water change still there(all pets seem ok)so over the past month i have been removing my bio balls from my sump and converting it to a refugium and so i am done, added live rock and cheeto and hooked up a light just now that i picked up on the way from work and when i turned the light on all the dry pellet food(i finally figured out to soak my food about a month ago) that went down the overflow and has made 2 big piles of old food sitting on the bottom of my sump, therehence the problem, i never seen it before because there was not enough lighting to see it so if you have a sump and bad readings relly look in your sump, lates its beer thirty and i got some cleaning to do
