A little OT: Going to Bahamas on Thurs, Which Snorkeling Excusion??

OK, I'm going on a cruise this thursday and I was wondering if anyone has advice to which shore excursion to take??? Snorkeling is a must but there are 3 or 4 snorkeling excursions to chose from. Does anyone have any prior experience??

There is the Nassau excursions:

We did the catamaran snorkel, it sucked because the reef they took us to was in the channel and was dead. They take so many tourists there that the reef was stomped to death. If you dock at freeport before nassau try that dive since freeport inst a tourist island. Just dont take the catamaran tour

Thanks for the response Steve. After doing alot of online research it seems that Stuart Cove in Nassau is the way to go. It's a private excusion company that hanndles nothing more than scuba & snorkel trips. Their website is http://www.stuartcove.com/ and it looks promising! They also rent out 8.1mp underwater digital cameras which I will certainly take advantage of.

I hope this is the right choice!

Yah if its private excusion then thats the one to take. The cruise ship ones are all bad.

also have fun at the atlantis resort when you dock at Nassau. They have some nice tanks there
