A little problem

Well it seems I have about an inch and a half long acroeating critter in my tank. He is such a beauty but I am afraid he is going to kill my acros before he stops. He just nips and nips the polyps no longer come out or are no longer there not sure which. Color is good though. Any ideas if not any one with a softy tank wishing to take him let me know first dibbs to the jasper area crew then out to the rest. here is a pic of the little monster

To take up for John, He didn't know that I had SPS in my tank. And to be honest with you that should have actually fell into my hands(well I guess it sort of did ) for not doing my homework, more so than the LFS who sold me what I ask for. But so much for that anyway, its all said and done. As mentioned I have this nice little acro-eating Citron Clown that needs a home, of course the next big thing will be getting him out of the tank.

Ok I will try to catch him in the morning before lights on. pm me your cell phone so I can call you if I have success.

Little Cheif Big Tears survived the ride home. He doesn't appear to be stressed.
Thanks Allen, my apologizes for not being there I had to go with the old lady to the store.

I hope he gathers more of an appetite for food vs polyps now that he is in a tank without polyps. Good luck with him, also I am still waiting on a pic of the tank with the new lights

The tank he is in now has a good bit of polyps(softies), so I hope so too. After putting the little fellow in the tank I put frozen cyclopleeze in, he didn't seem interested. I will keep you posted on his progress(fingers crossed).

About the tank pics- most of my rock has been moved to a ten gallon in an attempt to get rid of the hair algea. I am considering moving the rest of the rock(covered with various zoas and shrooms) to my 29 so I can get the crushed coral out. I just purchased 30 more # of rock(also in the ten gallon),so when I get rid of the algea and crushed coral and move all the rock in I will glady post pics of my "not so"new and improved 55 gallon reef tank.

He picks at frozen mysis and also other dry foods he will take it in and hold it for a few seconds then spit it out.

Little Cheif has still not taken to the cyclopleeze or flake that I have put into the tank. I did see him chasing a good sized amphipod this moring when I turned my lights on. I have lunar lights on the tank, hopefully he is feasting on these all night as I have lots of them
Little Cheif doesn't bother the firefish that he is tank mates with, and he nestles down into some zao frags I have at the top of the tank on some eggcrate.

Good deal,
I hope he will start eating my green one (who doesn't leave his xenia to bother anything) doesn't eat a lot maybe a couple of small flakes at a time. So they don't need much and they will prefer live food and if he gets it he may not go after flake or frozen. Again best of luck with him, I hope it works out.
