A Nice Experience

I stopped by Midwest Marine Life in Maryville/Edwardsville? I am unsure as to the actual location since they moved. Any who I wanted some Cheato. They however, did not have that much cheato, so what they found the gave to me for free. I was quite pleased.

Do they have prices on their stuff yet? I hate shopping when there isn't a single price in the store.

Every time I'm in there, there never is any fish to put a price on!

I just wish there was alot less hair algae, aiptasia, and ich in there.

I was in somewhat of a hurry, but I don't think I saw any prices. I don't think they have ever actually priced their livestock. Although I believe they once did have a dry erase board with invert prices. Only saw it once at their old location. As far as hair algae goes there did appear to be quite a bit abound. Didn't really think much of the algae seeing that the tanks are recently set up.

They're not that recent...and they had the same stuff at the old store.

I think that store has been open for 3-4 months now. He did have hair algae pretty bad when I was in there. And it was at the last store they ran too. They did have some things priced at their old store, not usually many corals though.

I just can't figure out why any store wouldn't put prices up. They could do it in like 30 minutes the first time and only a few minutes for updates after that I would think. I don't see how it can attract people to the store, but it does keep me and at least one person I know of from going there to even give them a chance. Plus, the prices in the past were too high anyway. If I thought there was a chance they would be low it would be different. It's like they know the price will scare you, so they don't put it up.

The place has alot of potential. I just wish he would do it up like Chad's. Given that it's like maybe 5 minutes from my house, I'd go there more, but I've already been to Chad's store more in the past week than I have to that store in the past 2 months.

They have aiptasia 3 for $1 and hair algae is always free.

man we got a lot of gc folks on here and quite a few of us from illinois too. You guys should check out Nemos. I love that place. Not many different corals but the always give me great prices

I like Nemo's too. I just wish they would improve there coral selection. They have a few each of most of the common softies, some LPS, and an occasional SPS. But I don't usually see anything that "wow's" me with color or anything. I have bought a few fish from there, most of which have done well.

ya their coral selection is terrible, but i really like danny and they've been helpin me put my setup together.

Nemo's does have good prices on their stuff.

I agree nemo's has good prices on their stuff,just need a larger selection of fish & corals.
