i bought my picasso over a month ago, and every night he sleeps in the top corner of the tank next to the feeder ring. most pics i see of clowns at night, they're towards the bottom of the tank "sleeping" on something. is there something wrong? he has no signs of stress and no torn fins.

I don't have a nem for mine yet so they sleep in the corner half way up. Pretty cute actually - the female sleeps sideways and the male sleeps on her like a hammock. Yours sounds fine :)

I posted this same question on another forum, I had many replied that ther're percs slept at the top in the corrner too as mine does. I had no replys that mentioned other clown types sleeping this way, none of my ocellaris ever did this, maybe it is a perc thing. Isn't it freaky, often someone will say, uh...I think your fish died, it's floating.

Tank raised clowns tend to sleep at the top of the tank. One of my clowns would get sucked into my homemade overflow about once a week until they got too big to fit through it. It is perfectly normal.

My ocellaris used to sleep at the top of the tank for the first week or so, then they found themselves a cave, and eventually I picked up a hairy mushroom that they decided they liked a lot.
