You can only reply so many times to a "look at what I picked up" thread. Been seeing those a lot lately. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing some good pics. You see a lot of the same zoo's. JMO

I do post when I see a problem that I can help with. And ID's. I try to help with those. It also depends on how I feel. Soemtimes I just like to read. Some times I like to post as much as possible(which still isn't a lot).

I selected "I'm a newbie and I'm here to learn, so I don't feel right in posting just yet." I not knowledgeable enough to post anything beyond newbie questions, but I have found the posts to be very informative.

I feel you should add another option, i read and dont post.

reason is, i dont feel the need to post i just enjoy reading other peoples posts

I look at pics, they tell me so much more then words. I want to see what is out there, how people have their setup, and replying to a "FYI" is not needed.

Also, there are so many odd questions, that it is not a lack of knowledge, but a very unclear question.

I like being able to respond when there is some useful knowledge I can impart but sometimes I don't know how to answer the persons question or someone else has already given the same explanation I would have. As far as picture threads, I just don't have time to look through all the pictures but I try and comment when I can.

'Same topic that I have seen or answered before'...there is a lot of repetition on here..'look at the pics of my new zoa',, if they're really nice pics, I'll post, but would prefer all my posts not be 'great pics!'. I do offer my two cents when I can help out!

if i know about the topic i post.. thus my high post count.. alot of times reefers are asking simple questions that any reefer who has been doing this for a while will know..

Okay, first off i do know a bit, not enough about the chemistry part, but enough that i can figure it out. Anyways i voted other, this is not just for the zoo forum, but for all of them. Now i do know that the only bad question is the question not asked, but there are a lot of repeat questions here that i think can be answered if the person would just spend more time reading. I go into the threads looking for new ideas on old topics, or even updated pics from a tank build. But eventually you just get tired of answering the same old q's with the same old answers.

*Maybe off topic here but, i read a thread a while ago, not sure when, but the guy had a 300g fully setup and was asking q's about why his plumbing and lights were not working well...(something like that) Now if i am going to build a 300, i think i would know every possible thing about it before i build...

Sorry if i sound rude. But please read, i would think that if you have a question, there is a good chance that some one else has already answered it here on RC.

I have a great deal of experience, but I choose not to post very often. The same questions are generally asked over and over. If people would just search the forums or google most of the time one can find what they are looking for. I know, I know - the search function here leaves alot to be desired. I think many people just want to be spoon fed and don't want to take the time to really research and learn. When I do find something of value, here or elsewhere I eagerly post.

you know me Mucho it dont bother me a bit , I agree with Bebo 77 If i know about the topic are wanta know are interested I post away
