From Wikipedia

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flower_hat_jelly

The flower hat jelly (Olindias formosa) is a rare species of jellyfish occurring primarily in Brazil, Argentina, and off southern Japan. Characterized by lustrous tentacles that coil and adhere to its rim when not in use, the flower hat jelly's bell is translucent and pinstriped with opaque bands, making it easily recognizable.

Its sting is non-lethal, but painful and its diet consists mostly of small fish. The flower hat jelly can grow to be about 15cm (6 inches) in diameter.

Nice species. Not saying wikipedia is wrong but be careful quoting that place. They have been wrong on several things because they allow regular people to submit information and do not verify it.

Well, not sure how accurate EB is. I do know my college refuses any information from that place and will fail any paper that uses that as a source. They have had many issues in the past with information from there that is inaccurate. As long as you verify it with a known credible source, I'd say it is fine but many people take what it says there as 100% truth and it isn't always the case.

Still a nice jelly though.

I just sort of have a little faith in humanity in that they don't always believe everything they read but wiki is a great place to get some quick info on and for those who will mess up its entries, there are those who will fix them as well.

Just because it isn't a viable reference for a term paper or whatever I think doesn't mean its superfluous either
