Alright, my friend is having some internet problems so i have to post this for him  . Hes starting a 20 gal tank. He really want to put a mantis shrimp in there. He knows his choices on what else can go in the tank are very limited, but hes cool with that. Besideds the mantis he wants to have some corals in there. would corals be safe in there?

yes, it really is my friend and not me :D . Even though i think mantis' are cool too ;)

The mantis might disturb the corals moving stuff aroud but it won't actually "attack" corals.

The water/light has to be good for the corals- the mantis can deal with some pretty harsh conditions. That's why people find them on their live rock- they live through shipping with no water, they live through tank/rock cycling- Definitely survivors!
