I've had my ACJR for a year now with no problems, until 2 weeks ago. I started getting alerts while I was away one day that the temperature was too high. When I got home I noticed the outlet for my heater on the DC8 was stuck in the ON position even though my computer with ACSerial2Web installed was reporting that outlet was OFF. Manually switching the outlet off and on did nothing, it was just frozen. I unplugged everything, let it sit for 5 minutes and then plugged it all back in and the outlet finally turned off.
Now tonight I got home and found that my HQI lights had the same issue (different outlet though). The lights have been stuck in the ON position for 24+ hours now! This time unplugging everything and plugging back in did not help right away. I had to do it about 3 times while also manually trying to turn on and off the outlet repeatedly before the lights finally went out.
At this point I do not trust my AC Jr anymore and am afraid to leave my house. Is this normal for a DC8 to start having issues after only a year? Is there anything I can do or check to see what is wrong? I clicked on the Self Test in the options and it said it passed. Please help!
