Acan colours adjusted.

These two local acans I collected of the many I have in my little invert tank have taken on some top colours.

This was not how they looked four months back.
I started dosing supermarket iron with the new foods I am making and the colours went wild.

My food is a mix of local algae grazers and filter feeders blended up, I don’t use predator meats in my mix due to accumulated metals.
I use all planktonic life I can get frozen or fresh and lobster eggs from the lfs.
Any thing very small I do not blend.
There is a lot more to it and I make up my own dosing needs, like Randy and two others have done, to a degree.
I add any dosing needs by hand regularly.
Plus I rely on what my algae run externally emit and what is left over from oxidation processes.
You see I don’t use a skimmer or iron or aluminium oxides or activated carbons, I recycle everything produced from my reef life and the nitrogen cycle.
I must have pushed the wrong thing, this was to go into the lps forum.
