just got a acan lord and blasto frag at the frag farmers market on sunday and just wanted some tips on care. lighting, placement , and feeding currently i run 3 t5's ati bulbs and reflectors about 6 inches over my 29

T5 High Output? If yes, then the lighting is fine. I would start the frags on the bottom in low flow, partially shaded. You can move them up after a while. Blastos don't like lots of light or flow, so keep them partially shaded permanently.

If they are regular T5s then the lighting is still fine. Acans and blastos are NOT high light corals. Blastos will bleach out in direct bright light, so keep them shaded. They are very hardy, so you should be golden!

You can feed daily, weekly or never. They should be ok with anything, but do benefit from occasional feedings if your aquairum can handle the excess nutrients.

Post a picture for fun!

Lords seem tolerant with a variety of lighting conditions with acclimation.
I know people who have them under mh or 40w of stock lighting in a 30gallon.
You can feed as often you like or not. They grow fast when fed but will still grow even if they are not target fed.
Blastos seem to appreciate shade in my tank but its under 250w DE 20K.
Move them down if they start to lighten.
You should have no problem with the lords but blastos seem to be one of the touchier LPS.

Personaly I think that lighting is way under pwered for keeping
Acans or blastos.

I dont think I've seen you post anything that I agreed with. This is no exception.
