acan lord ??

so i have a acan lord frag.. it has about 8 polyps.. a tentacle tip from my hammer coral popped off today and for some reason the acan lord thought it was a snack.. long story short when i saw this i removed it but the damage was done.. when i returned home tonight the lord polyp was just about dead.. i dipped the frag in TMPCC to try and stop any further die off.. my question is there anything else i should do?? will the polyp re-grow or will they just grow around it?? thanks for any help..

if it spreds frag the destroyed section off other wise ride the coaster

What does a dieing Acan look like? I want to be able to identify if my Acan frag starts to take a turn for the worse so I can take some action to save it.
