Recent changes:

i have a t-5 retrofit so i changed two of the reflectors this past weekend b/c they were salt damaged. i also changed carbon and GFO on 10/05

i have several colonies of acans all doing well growing new heads well i got home yesterday and one of my colonies that had about 4 large heads on it and 7 babies all getting bigger; was suddenly was dying right in front of my eyes. i noticed that 2 of the large polyps had totally bailed out (just missing); the other two were hanging on by a thread, and all the babies were gone. i just fed it some clams this weekend as with everything else. i did notice wednesday that it didn't have its polyps extended fully. i didn't think much of it b/c they do that sometimes. i just figured maybe a hermit or snail must have made it mad climbing over it. i have a really good size colony next to it that has about 14 heads on it and it didn't look real happy yesterday either when i got home. the 3 other colonies i have look normal. i'm thinking maybe bacterial infection so i dipped all of the acans. this morning the one that didn't look to happy yesterday looked better.

thinking alittle more about it this morning. i have a hammer colony about 3 inches or so away (when both were fully extended) from where the acan was. is it possible that the hammer could have reached out and got the acan. this is all i can think of that would make it go south so fast. any and all help would be appreciated
