The most an outlet on an AC3 can control to is 1 minute. You can get less using dome DIY components; I used a time delay circuit to get 10 seconds on but I'm outof the country at the moment and don't have a link to give you. A search for skimmer cleaner or self cleaning might find an old thread talking about it.
