ACjr and Aquanotes lite

I am attempting to connect my AC jr to my laptop via serial connection, in AN it says that my active site is direct to pc and that status is connected last error none....

when I ask it to download reports it says it does but there is nothing in my graphs... also seems to lock up every now and then, is there something I am doing wrong, I have gone into tank database and put my serial # in... I am lost help...

I also get the not responding error. When I go to my aquacontroller jr I do not have the option under setup to make sure that rs232 is enabled... I do have the serial ACjr....

The Jr does not have the RS232 enable menu item - only the older controllers. Make sure that the correct comm port is select on the config tab of the database -> tank database window. If you are not using our serial cable (part #SERPC9) make sure that it has the correct internal connections as described on http://www.neptunesys.com/hardwareFAQ.htm#CABLE .

I got it thanks... I had to reset computer for some reason.... Sometimes I think I am a computer idiot... things are working great now..... it is an older laptop so ????? hopefully it all keeps working strong
