Acjr Problem

Just got my ACjr w/ DC8. First week no problem.
But now light keeps turning on/off unscheduled. Im using the default program and delete the TimerNames and TimerPrograms that I dont used. I try the InitMemory and do it all over again, NO LUCK. Tried to use different TimerNames and Control address on DC8, Same thing happens.

My ACjr is version 300J-6A05

My TimerNames
LHT - D01 (ICECAP 250 METAL HALIDE BALLAST)
PH1- D02 (RIO 200 POWERHEAD)
PH2- D03 (RIO 200 POWERHEAD)
HOT - DO4 (HEATER)
CHL - D05 (COMPUTER FAN W/ 12V ADAPTER)

My TimerPrograms
-If time > 10:30 then LHT on
-If time > 21:30 then LHT off
-Osc 010/010 on/off then PH1 on
-Osc 010/010 on/off then PH1 off
-If temp < 76.7 then HOT on
-if temp >77.0 then HOT Off
-if temp > 77.3 then CHL on
-if temp < 77.0 then CHL off

Am I missing something?

And sometimes my fan doesn't turn off even the temp is below 77.
Last time I observed the temp is 76.7 and the fan is still on.

help would be appreciated.

thanks
John

P.S.
The "On" character on ACjr is still displayed even the light goes off unscheduled.

- Can you manually turn the light on/off through the controller(control & status -> manual control)?
- Is the telephone cord you are using the standard one that came with the DC8?
- What devices do you have plugged into the DC8?

Curt

- Yeah, I can turn the light on/off through manual control
- Im using the supplied cord that came with DC8
- IC MH ballast 250w, two power head, heater and computer fan with 12V adapter.

OK,Yesterday I found telephone cord(with four internal wires) and changed it. It is shorter than the supplied cord. Then I changed my light outlet from D01 to D08. So far it didnt turn off in the middle of the day. This morning, I put it back to D01 and will observe hoping its only a defective cord.

Is the LED in DC8 supposed to go off too? I've only seen it once.
And the first week I'm trying to figure out whats going on, I unplugged the adapter of my fan and the light goes off too. Is that normal?

Thanks for replying.

John

Yes, the LED on the DC8 will blink off when commands are sent to it. The light will normally be on.
