Acropora cervicornis growth (over 2 years), 734 day time lapse

Amzing thanks for sharing.
Wish it was taken from an other angle so we could still see the branch growth at the end.

That was pretty cool. It's too bad it started "plating" on the glass, it was cool to see but it also blocked a lot of the action.

So did you do this from a web cam and just pull an image every day or did you have a single shot type camera that you had to click every day?

This is only one, (of three) time laps cameras recording this particular tank/colony,...I have, and will be presenting the other two camera sequences in due time for those of you who are unsatisfied with the angle.

Not that we're unsatisfied as you couldn't have guessed it would encrust to much on the glass.
Can you please describe your technique in capturing the pics and joining them in a slide show?

It's actually not pics, but a split-second video taken daily with a web cam connected to a computer, programed to shoot everyday at 3:00PM.
You are actually watching a video of small video clips "linked" in sequence.

I love it. I've always wanted to setup a time lapse cam on my tank but I just have no patience to wait that long.
