I am not sure, but I just saw a minute ago a crab in my birdnest . Should I take it out? It would be very difficult to take it out. I always do coral rx dip before I out any corals in my tank.

It looks like you have algae. Is your tank in a good shape for Acropora?
Is your tank stable?

That is macro algae, not hair algae . My parameters are very stable . I am dosing daily to keep my calcium , kh and magnesium stable. The acropora was well the whole time and after my last wc it was suddenly like this. I did change new activated carbon. If I put too much new activated carbon can it harm sps?

are you using GFO, bp? I have a similar issue and they are receding from the base very very slowly and it seems like it happens every time I do a water change (10%) every week, and gfo/carbon every other week.

I agree with the GFO, how often should you change your GFO because I feel everytime you change it there is going to be a change in p04

hm I had a similar issue with a ORA plum crazy, started to bleach from the bottom up even though params are stable and the pink lemonade next to it is perfectly fine. I ended up losing most of it before I did like they are suggesting and tried to frag the healthy part.

I fragged the healthy part yesterday trying to safe it. Today when I woke up it was dead half of it. It is dying very quickly. It was so well before I change the carbon. Half of the colony was dead in 2 days after I change new carbon.
