Acropora frag tank

Have a question, I have a 180 SPS (mostly acros).
In the past, I plumbed my 30 gal frag tank into the 180.
I would rather not set it up like that.
Here the question, What is needed besides the frag tank,lights,heater,
Return pump, sump and skimmer. Also do I just dose Manuly . Do I need fish, clean up crew.
Or is it better to just tie it in to DT.

I would put some rock and/or other media in there, even if it is just in the sump.

My frag tank grows like crazy and it needs a CaRx, just like the display.

You do not need any fish, but you might want some snails and stuff to eat some algae.

Why not plumb it into DT? Volume = stability and decreases maintenance.
