Acropora Health Assessment (pics)

I got two acros in June, among a few other SPS and LPS, added to my 110 gallon tall tank with one 3.5" maroon clown and one 3.5" yellow tang.

Attached you will find pics of the two acros from the first week of June and today, mid August.

As you can see, SPS #1 has intense polyp extension, which it has had for over a month. Its base seems to be expanding, but its colors are fading from a dark purple to a light blue. It sits on a rock vertically centered in a 30" tall tank.

SPS #2 has grown very noticeably. It doesn't have much polyp extension during the day. It appears to be in better health. The tips are just a few inches from the water surface.

How would you say SPS #1 is doing? My main concern would be the colors fading. Water parameters are all good:

NO3: 0
PO4: 0.020
Ca: 430
KH: 9
Mg: 1350

Thanks.

Couple of things. If they are ocean cultured which it appears to me they are, give them time to adjust to the captive lifestyle. :)

The other thing is if your nutrients are truly that low then you need to be feeding those acros.
