Acros, light and Interceptor treatment

Partway through the whole tank treatment protocol with Interceptor and was planning 3 doses of Interceptor each a week apart. Recently came across Eric Borneman's treatment and now considering moving over to his.

Borneman's method is to remove acros to a treatment tank, and since I don't have lights other than over my display, wondering how long my acros (and montis since attached to the same large piece of LR) can go without light?

i would guess they can live for close to a week, but they will look really bad by the time they make it back.

imo flow and water quality are just as big of concerns in a treatment tank, so you should plan for those as well.
