Acrylic DIY'er Needed

Hi All,
Is anyone here good with Acrylic? I want to have an Internal Overflow made and I have not done much Acrylic work. Thanks for any help.

Chris

What I have is a standard 75g tank that i drilled a 1" bulkhead into the back glass in the upper left hand corner. I would like a black Acrylic overflow to attach to the left hand glass, extend towards the right about 7", and about 4" out from the back glass, and be about 8" tall with teeth on the top edge. Hope that makes sence. Does that sound possible?
Chris

lol...awesome to see someone from Convoy, OH. I was originally from Van Wert, OH and my brother and sister still attend Crestview.

Well, I actually live in Van Wert now. I guess I need to update my profile a bit.

Not yet but I hope to in the future. I need to get an overflow made so I can get this tank up and running.

Read the start of this thread. I need one made out of Acrylic for the 1" hole that I drilled in the back wall of my tank.

Hey Chris. I may make it out to the garage tomorrow. I have a pice of black acrylic and will see how well I can get it to come out. I have done some minor acrylic work, so I don't know how well it will turn out. I will post a pic when I get it done.
Chad

I have it cut, but the teeth, I had to freehand, and the piece of acrylic wasn't big enough to get the size you requested. I am able to make it aprox. 7x7x4.
Will post pics later.

Free. Acrylic was free, and already had the Weldon. Plus I already had my router out to trim another piece I was cutting for a sump divider.

If you can get it, I could use it. Needs to be at least 12" though.

This piece was a little short, so when I saw this post, I thought I could at least get some practice building something that might get some use.

i will see what I can get. I saw a new shipment just came in, so I know I can get some scrap, or should be able to. I will bring what ever I can to the next meeting, and you can take what you want.

Thanks a million Chad. Ill have to get you a frag or something when my tank is up and running.
