Hi

I going to start vinegar dosing or possibly vinegar/alcohol (65:35) mix and have bought a TMC REEF easy dosing containers and was wondering if its safe to store the above solotions in the an acrylic containers.

I know that vinegar turns plastic tubing white over white and very brittle but how about acrylic dosing containers. I am worried it will start to leech chemicals into the vinegar stored there.

if I can use acrylic then what type of container can i use?

Thanks

"leaching" will not be an issue..
What is possible is crazing/cracking/softening/swelling,etc... of the acrylic depending on the strengths used..

Household vinegar is not an issue but the alcohol could be..
I do not think its an issue at all with the ratio you propose though..
Just don't store the alcohol in their by itself..

you can use voss water bottles for something like this. They are made of glass and are pretty sleek looking. Pretty simple DIY.

Just ignore the looks you will get when people see you buying "Voss Water"..
"oh regular water isn't good enough for you" :)
