acrylic scratches ,,how to remove them ??

gotta love saltwater.....
i just came across a 120 gal acrylic rounded edge tank ,, but it has some scratches on it ,,,not deep at all but the person i got it from for a steal of a deal didnt take to good care of it ,,,,it has a center over flow into 3 diffrent chambers ????? is that how all overflows are ... into 3 diffrent chambers ????? i added a few pics to see if you floks can tell me if that a standard overflow ,

Based on the pics I'd say the overflow looks great! :)

I've never owned an acrylic tank, but I am really bored today so I read up on it some. Looks like all the threads suggest using micro mesh to sand/buff them out. Looks like a few companies make the kits, but the rainbow kit and the micro-surface website are mentioned the most. This maybe something one of the LFS even carry.

Here are a few example threads but they are all the same. James aka "acrylics" in link 1 seems to really know his stuff.

Just out of curiosity are you a correction officer for the Lorain county sheriffs dept? I have a friend that's a county CO that is a real character.
