Acrylic Seam Repair

Hi guys,

I'm attempting to build an acrylic aquarium and have had some troubles with the ends. Is there any way to fix this besides starting over?

I had them cut at the plastic manufacture and they seemed pretty clean but I gave them a quick scrape and wiped them down before I started. I used the pin method and waited about 60 seconds pulled them and clamped

Thanks in advance!

There is really no right way to fix that besides start over/cut it off....

Some have tried to inject thickened solvent into the area or tried to drill/inject but it will likely end in it being worse..

A bubble free joint takes quite a bit of practice/skill/perfect conditions/proper fixturing, etc...
Be happy you did that..

If you won’t to be sure that it will hold water 100% add 1/4 inch brace there and use Weldon 40 to glue it. U can get Weldon 40 two part from amazon for around 35 bucks
