Acrylic sheet source

Anyone know of a good source in SW VA for thicker sheet adrykic (.5" and thicker)? The stuff at Lowes/HD is really light weight stuff.

Check local sign shops or glass shops. I got some black acrylic for dividers at a local sign shop. Either shop might order what you want too.
There is a few websites to order from. Can't think of any off the top of my head. Google is your friend.

the one that i've used in the past is an online vendor. TAP Plastics, they'll cut to size for a small fee and the delivery cost isn't too bad

As someone who worked for Microsoft through the 90's - I dont Google - I Bing

Appreciate all the ideas - have searched on line but shipping costs are usually the killer. The sign shop idea is great - there is one near my office in Roanoke - will check them out.

BTW - pardon typos. My teenage son wanted a gaming keyboard at home and apparently the keys are slightly smaller or something - just enough that I often end up hitting the key next to the one I want. Now I cant type on either machine...
