Eric- Just a bit of advice I picked up along the way when I built my acrylic tank.
Many things I read about building acrylic tanks said to allow the seams to sit and "dry" or basically bond together for as long as you realistically can. Some guys wait a full week after they have built their tanks before they even put water in it. The bond just continues to get stronger over a few days. I personally waited a couple days before I put water in mine after I was done.
I would be concerned about having anyone "rush" to get a tank built. Just my opinion.
If you are concerned about space, and you have the extra equipment around... I would purchase a rubbermaid or two to house some of your inhabitants for the extra space, if you haven't already.
Did you by chance get ahold of Plasticare? It has been a while since I was there but I know they used to have some tanks sitting there in the 125 range. Worth a call if you are desperate for time.
