I have a tank that is 96" long x 30" deep x 36" tall.
The acrylic is 1" thick for the walls and 1/2" thick for the top bracing. I would like to take out the center bracing. Do you guys think that it would be OK?
the center brace provide additional structural support in order to prevent the tank from bowing and/or exploding from the water pressure. i wouldn't take out the center brace unless you are prepared to risk this.
i'm not a structural engineer, but i can't imagine this would be wise.
