What do I use to polish the inside of my acrylic tank? It got scratched up so I sanded it with some thousand grit. I got the scratches out but it looks cloudy now. With water in it all you can see is very fine scratches so I guess It would work to just leave it how it is but if there is a polish I can use that would make it better that would be helpful.
Thanks.

You need to go much finer then 1000 grit for something like that. It similar to polishing out a car that has scratches. I would do some research on that process. It usually starts with something like 200 to 400 grit and gradually moves up to 1000, 2000, 3000+ grit. Here is a link that is more geared towards acrylic polishing specifically. Good luck

Alright. I will try it out. I didn't want to use the same stuff on the inside as the outside because I didn't know if it would hurt the fish or not.

It looked pretty good just filling it up with water like epic said.
We are just waiting for everything to settle now so he can start getting some fish.
