Add on refugium

I have a 60 gallon cube with a 20 gallon high sump underneath. I'm looking to add on a refugium in a separate tank next to sump. Space is limited but I think a 5 gallon glass tank would fit. I've drilled tanks before but can you drill a tank this small and put in bulkheads? Or I was thinking a custom acrylic. Where can I get a custom acrylic tank made or the supplies to do it myself? Thanks

From my experience thinner glass is harder to drill. You can do it but go very slow

Have you looked at a hang on back refugium?

I did my setup that way and it works great. Return pump feeds refuguim and gravity drains it back to the sump. I ended up using some bricks to elevate the fuge slightly over the sump. Acrylic would be much easier to drill and you might be able to find a smaller acrylic tank for a decent price.
