So I decided to frag a bunch of my colorful/unique zoas the other day.... traded a few but have plenty left over....
I'd like to trade my zoas for some other corals...
I do not want to sell at the moment out of respect for several other area reefers. Joey and Gflat both hooked me up with some of these corals back in the day, so I wouldn't feel right turning around and trying to sell them... If you ever want to buy corals, be it at the swap or wherever - I'd highly recommend either of these guys, they're great guys!.... so lets try and keep it to trades, trying to diversify my reef on a student's budget!
-I'm specifically interested in the softer corals (not xenia, colt coral, etc...) but zoas, torches, frogspawns, etc... I'm proly interested in basically anything unique coral wise, regardless of what kinda it is.... not a huge fan of acros or montis atm....
-also would be willing to trade for bta, rbta, etc...
-also interested in the following fish
clowns (hopefully a pair... percs, ocs, maroons..)
bangai cardinal
other smaller fish ( must fit in a 33 long)
fireshrimp
really, any fish/coral/anemone make me an offer and I'll let you know what I think...
Located in Birmingham!
here's the corals
***These were ID'd by someone on here/zoaid.com as raspberry reds- not 100%on that but looks pretty accurate to me. They have a metallicky orange/red look to them when just the actinics are on...orange skirts, darker brownish band, orange/red middle with a blueish/purple tiny mouth to them
-I haven't seen a lot of these around anywhere!
6-8 frags ranging from 5-15 polyps per frag
*** also in that same pic to the right of the raspberry reds are green starfish polyps - don't know the exact name.... heard them called starfish polpys, kiwi star, other things....
1-2 frags around 6-10 poylps per frag
*** yellow polyps... these grow fast and are super bright!
4-5 frags around 10 polyps per frag
I can also do a large frag on a rock with 50-75 polyps ( the frag in the pic)
*** blue zoas (not tubs blue zoas, but definetly more blue than in the pic)
4-5 frags around 8-10 polyps per frag
*** last are some large orange-green palys..... these are quarter-ish in size when fully open
1-2 frags around 6-8 polyps per frag, I can frag additional ones of these, however many you want...
*** also have some bright red mushrooms I can frag...
the biggest is softball sized!
unless otherwise noted, these were all fragged a few days ago onto plugs....
PM me if interested or have any other questions!
