Thanks, I found the shirt in Cozumel Mexico last month and I found the clam at Seven Seas. Chad is great to deal with.

I see you have a dwarf flame angle in your tank. Doe he leave the coral alone?

So far so good. I've only had it for 2 or 3 months. I got it from SITC.

Thanks cowboyswife! :)

Wow, that's an awfully big gigas to be just adding it to your 110 gallon. I hope you do realize it will get huge in very short time, like a year or two?

I did read a few days ago that they can grow 4 to 6" a year with intense lighting. I also read your thread about the amazing growth you have had with yours.

The one rock on that side is being moved so she will have that entire right side of my tank (about 1/4 of my tank) and I already turned her so she faces front to back that gives much more room.

I anticipate the need to sell her or upgrade within two to three years.

Giga indeed! Planning on dosing half a bottle of supplement everyday? ;)

I did read about how quickly they can suck up CA & Alk.

Luckily I dose two part (homemade) out of 5 gallon buckets via a two part dosing pump. I am running the lowest setting now at 5 but I can increase that all the way up to 300 which is constant flow.

hrm...I haven't had much problem with my clam 10"...corals are still growing good...I just keep a topoff bucket with calcium...

They are a great addition...good for nitrates too!
