Added the 2nd one....

Had a Cinnamon, added a 2nd. Found one about 3/4" or so compared to my 3" ish one. So far, unknown. QTed it and gave it the clean bill of health. Put it in with about 20 minutes before actinics out last night to let him get his bearings, they seemed to show no interest in each other. The only interested party was my CB, who wanted to chase him around a little. Shrimp have been working on him a little bit, but thats about it. They seem to be on opposite sides of the tank, but the little one is showing interest in my Torch. Maybe he'll jump in.
All in all, 18 hrs in and she hasn't killed him yet, I guess thats good.

sounds good. It took about 45 seconds for my maroon to notice the juvi i added.

once your female does decide to notice, she'll probley nip at him a bit. as long as he starts submitting things should be ok. I was extreamly nervous about adding my juvi.. it went alot easier than i planned!!! after 12 hours of chasing/hiding/submitting/tearingfins... she let him in her nem and its been love ever since lol

Day 3, still ok. She found him. He's got a dart hole under the rocks that she just figured out how to chase him into. He sit swims around tentatively, but she'll let him get pretty close before going after him. Sometimes she still completely ignores him and swims right by.

sounds cool. And some people are lucky with getting them to pair off right away, like tourkid....others have had them go 3 months..just both on there own for that long, and then for some reason they'll pair off lol. I'm getting my clown pair in about 3 hours...they were already paired off in some other guys tank and he brought them in to the lfs while i was there, so hopefully i wouldnnt have to worry about waiting for them to pair!

Follow the leader has begun. Either the little guy got off easy, or it hasn't begun yet. I still wouldn't call them paired or close to it... they're not inseparable or anything, but war has not ensued yet.

Sounds like everything is going well for you! My cinnamon clown killed her prospective partner in about 30 minutes the last time I tried to pair her off

Moved everyone over to the 90 last friday. still the occasional chasing, but she's stopped bullying him almost completely. They don't seem to be inseparable, but are tolerating each other. She hangs out with my Torch, he hangs out near my colt, everyone seems happy. We'll see what happens once i get the new light up and the tank stabilizes and I put ONE anemone in... that might start WW3.
