Adding a DI stage/unit to a RO unit??

Im getting an older 3 or 4 stage RO unit from a friend. Will it be possible to add a DI unit to it? If so anyone know who sells them?
will the DI part help with the water quality??

Marine Depot;That Fish Place;Foster and Smith, Pet Solutions; etc. You may not need a DI add-on unit if your getting a 4 stage unit from your friend.
