Sounds good then, it's always a good thing to QT a new fish anyways, and there are a lot of die hard reefers out there that will always do a mandatory 4 week cupramaine, hypo or copper based medicine of choice, along with a two week praziquentil treatment. I am one of them, and I learned the hard way by saying even though the fish looked fine in QT for several days I then put it into the DT with devastating effects. I do a 4 week cupramaine treatment with water changes once a week and daily copper testing the first week to make sure the dosage is correct. Then I'll do it once every 3-4 days and then after my weekly QT water change I check it to see how much I need to add back. This has worked really well for me, and I borrowed this method of testing and qt'ing from another member who posted his results after an ich outbreak. IMHO while they are in QT it is a great time to do a praziquentil treatment. I had one time just done copper treatments and after 4 weeks added fish to the DT only to find days later that they were tossing they're heads. I thought it was ich, but after much research found that more and more fish are coming in with flukes. I had to dose my DT with prazi-pro (which is reef safe thank god). Needless to say I always do a prazi-pro treatment now while in QT.
