Adding a new Clown

Hi, I lost a clown and a firefish in my 20G during a power outage due to a snow storm over the weekend. One clown and a blenny and all my cleanup crew survived. I am about to add a clown to the tank, but the new guy will be much bigger than the guy in the tank. The current guy is about 1.5 to 2" and the new guy is 2.5" to 3". Would this be OK?

Also on the side note, what's the lowest temp that the clowns can survive? My tank was in the mid 60 to low 60's during the power outage for several hours.

It should be OK. There will probably be some squabbling at first, but the larger one should establish dominance. Then your new guy will become the new girl.

Don't have any idea about the temp., just remember these are tropical fish. I would think anything less than 70 would be very stressful.

The good thing about the tanks temperature dropping is, the temp didnt suddenly fluctuate or drop, so stress is less of a concern there.
Sincethe temperature dropped slowly the fish was able to adjust to it, which caused less stress. I wouldnt let the temp drop lower than 72.
I use hot water in plastic water bottles and let them float in the tank to help keep the temp somewhat stabile. It works pretty well.
