Adding a new fish to QT while treating a sick fish?

At the risk of sounding like an idiot, I will ask those here who are much more experienced than I.

I have a fish I am treating for a parasite in 36g QT with Prazi. Is it ok to purchase a new fish to add to the QT since it would also be treated with Prazi? I am looking at an angel that does not come around too often or I would otherwise just wait until everything was good before adding a new fish.

Any thoughts or considerations I am missing?

As long as the first fish remains in the QT for the entire length of the angel's stay, it should be OK. The clock starts again when the new fish is added.

If you know for sure it's just Flukes; I'd say no problem. Just realize you will need to do Prazi all over again; two more rounds on both fish. But if it's anything else, I probably wouldn't chance it.
