Adding another Sunburst Anthias (or two!!)

I have a 1" Sunburst Anthias (Serranocirrhitus latus) in my 180 for about a month now and would like to add another or a small group if possible.

What is the best way to introduce another: Smaller? Larger?

Can they live in groups or are they best in pairs?

i had a large one in a 300g tank for over 3 months then threw in a group of 5 smaller ones. now i only end up with 3. the weaker ones got picked on and just dissapeared. out of the remaining 3,2 of them seem stick closer together and 1 of them is by himself in another area of the tank. so i don't know what to tell you but this is what happened to me. hope it helps. but one thing about them is that they need to be fed really frequently. the really big one died because i couldn't provide him with enough frozen food. they are really slow and shy eaters can't beat the more aggressive fish to the food. the big one only seem to eat mysis but the small ones will eat nori as well, but haven't got any of them on flakes or pellets yet. good luck

Sunburst anthia's are unlike most other anthias in that they don't really do the 'male + bunch of females in peace' thing. Unless you have a really big tank, whatever number of them you add is almost certainly going to dwindle to a pair at best.
