Adding bulkhead to rubbermaid

I am wanting to add a bulkhead to the bottom of a rubbermaid trash contain that stores water so that I can use it as an ATO with my aqualifter. I need the bulkhead at the bottom of the trash can to avoid the siphon problem.

What are the fittings called that a piece of flex tubing goes into and becomes water tight, then you would have to press it in a little to release the grip on the flex tubing? And where do I get these?

JG (and others) do make bulkhead fitting see here and here though might be easier to source just a regular insided thread bulkhead and thread in a TA
